This leadership role is vital in overseeing nursing operations within the dialysis unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dialysis procedures and management, demonstrating strong clinical expertise and leadership skills to support both staff and patients effectively. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care within the dialysis unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to treatment protocols. Oversee daily nursing operations, coordinating staff schedules and resource allocation to maintain smooth workflow. Lead and support nursing staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies. Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Monitor patient outcomes and intervene as necessary to optimize treatment efficacy. Manage documentation accurately and maintain detailed records of patient treatments and staff activities. Act as a liaison between management and nursing staff, communicating updates, policies, and procedural changes effectively. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by participating in quality assurance initiatives and staff training programs. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current registration. Extensive experience in dialysis nursing is required; candidates must demonstrate a strong background in dialysis procedures and patient management. Proven leadership or management experience within a clinical setting is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and workflow management. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices in dialysis care.
