Job Description

Join HCA Healthcare as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Cardiac Services, supporting high-acuity cardiac patients across our advanced care units. In this leadership-focused RN role, you'll coordinate patient care, guide clinical practice, and support bedside nurses to ensure safe, evidence-based cardiac care. Responsibilities include overseeing patient flow, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, mentoring staff, and reinforcing quality and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians and care teams, champion patient-centered care, and contribute to process improvements that advance outcomes and the patient experience. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily cardiac patient care activities Support and mentor bedside nursing staff in cardiac care best practices Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans Monitor patient flow, admissions, and discharges for cardiac units Reinforce quality, safety, and regulatory standards Participate in and sometimes lead interdisciplinary rounds Assist with development and implementation of clinical protocols Support staff education and competency for cardiac services Escalate and respond to changes in patient condition Contribute to performance improvement and patient experience initiatives Required Skills Cardiac nursing Telemetry and cardiac monitoring IV medication administration (including cardiac drips) Patient assessment and triage Care coordination and discharge planning Clinical leadership and staff mentoring Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Quality and patient safety practices Interdisciplinary team collaboration Regulatory and compliance knowledge
