In this role, you'll provide oversight and support for Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services across both our Sawgrass and Oak Bridge campuses. As a Weekend Supervisor, you'll serve as a mentor, resource, and leader for nursing staff while helping ensure residents receive the highest quality care possible. From staffing support and clinical guidance to emergency response and quality initiatives, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment. What You'll Do Clinical Leadership & Resident Care Provide leadership and clinical oversight across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities during weekend operations Support and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance Assist with staffing coordination and provide direct resident care or medication administration when needed Oversee admissions, discharges, transfers, and care transitions throughout the weekend Monitor resident conditions and assist with clinical decision-making and care coordination Respond to medical emergencies within the community and provide clinical leadership during urgent situations Montessori-Inspired Memory Care Support Support our Montessori-Inspired Memory Care philosophy by promoting person-centered care that preserves dignity, purpose, and independence Assist teams in creating positive, engaging experiences for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments Encourage a compassionate approach that focuses on each resident's strengths, preferences, and abilities Quality, Compliance & Risk Management Conduct audits of charting, assessments, medication storage, crash carts, and clinical documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Vicar's Landing policies and procedures Support infection prevention initiatives, including training on hand hygiene, PPE usage, and standard precautions Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, corrective action plans, and root cause analyses Help maintain survey readiness and support regulatory visits Team Development & Mentorship Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff throughout the weekend Assist with orientation, staff education, competency evaluations, and clinical coaching Support the Nursing Leadership Team and Staff Development Coordinator with training initiatives Foster teamwork, accountability, and professional growth among staff members Emergency & Operational Oversight Manage nursing department response during weather events, power outages, and other non-medical emergencies Coordinate communication between departments and leadership teams Provide daily shift reports and updates to nursing management and on-call leadership Help ensure continuity of care across multiple levels of service and campuses What Makes You a Great Fit You are a confident nursing leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others You thrive in fast-paced environments where critical thinking and decision-making are essential You are passionate about resident-centered care and quality outcomes You communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members You remain calm and professional during challenging situations You enjoy balancing clinical care, leadership, and operational oversight Skills You Need Must Have Skills Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR certification Strong leadership and supervisory skills Knowledge of long-term care, assisted living, and healthcare regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation Nice to Have Skills Previous charge nurse, supervisor, unit manager, or nursing leadership experience Experience in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care Experience with infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives Experience working with residents living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Knowledge of survey readiness and regulatory compliance How You'll Grow Here In your first 12-24 months, you'll have opportunities to: Expand your nursing leadership and management experience Develop expertise across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services Work closely with Directors, Clinical Leaders, and interdisciplinary teams Participate in quality improvement and organizational initiatives Enhance your operational and emergency management skills Explore future growth opportunities within Health Services leadership Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary - Based on experience and qualifications Additional Perks at Vicar's Landing Weekend leadership opportunity Holiday bonus opportunities Scholarship and career advancement programs Free daily meals Leadership development opportunities Continuing education support Employee recognition programs Benefits Snapshot Health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan Generous paid time off Employee wellness resources Supportive nursing leadership team A culture focused on compassion, excellence, and teamwork Why Vicar's Landing?
