WHO WE ARE
The Lilac @ Bayview, a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in St. Augustine, FL is currently seeking an RN Unit Manager. We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented clinical professional to join our team! As the RN Unit Manager you will be responsible for the organizing and directing of the clinical operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility. To be most successful in the role of RN Unit Manager, you will be a TEAM player with great conflict resolution skills, who is able to display unlimited patience and a positive demeanor with every single interaction.
TEAMWORK ENVIRONMENT
Key Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned unit Coordinate and monitor resident care plans Ensure compliance with Florida state regulations and facility policies Conduct resident assessments and oversee documentation accuracy Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Manage staffing schedules and assist with staff development and training Monitor infection control and safety procedures Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions as needed Qualifications Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations Current CPR certification required Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive team-oriented environment Schedule Full-time Flexible scheduling based on facility needs Weekend and on-call rotation may be required If you are an RN with a sincere devotion to caring for the elderly, we would be happy to meet you - please apply!
