This permanent, onsite leadership opportunity offers a full-time daytime schedule with no weekends and is ideal for an experienced cardiovascular nursing leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams, expanding cardiovascular services, and delivering exceptional patient care. The Nurse Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing cardiovascular program while working closely with executive leadership, physicians, Registered Nurses, and Cardiovascular Lab Technicians. The Nurse Manager - Cardiac Cath Lab will provide clinical and operational leadership across the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Interventional/Special Procedures Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and Pre/Post Holding Unit. The cardiovascular service line was established recently and features two state-of-the-art procedure rooms, providing the incoming Nurse Manager with an opportunity to help grow and expand the program. This leader will be responsible for clinical quality, staffing, regulatory compliance, patient safety, resource utilization, productivity, physician collaboration, and overall departmental performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with progressive cardiovascular leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting. This individual will bring strong clinical knowledge, operational leadership, and the ability to develop teams and processes in a growing service line. The position is eligible for sign-on and relocation assistance and offers a competitive salary range of approximately $88,100-$127,900 annually based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional/Special Procedures Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and Pre/Post Holding Unit while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality cardiovascular care Lead, mentor, schedule, and develop Registered Nurses and Cardiovascular Lab Technicians while promoting teamwork, employee engagement, accountability, and professional development Partner with physicians, executive leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to grow the cardiovascular service line, optimize procedural workflows, improve patient throughput, and support expansion initiatives Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and patient safety protocols while driving quality improvement and exceptional patient outcomes Manage departmental resources, staffing, productivity, supplies, equipment, and operational costs while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and overall department performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or recognized Compact RN license meeting Florida licensing requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment Minimum of 3 years of clinical Cardiovascular Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience within an acute care hospital setting required Minimum of 2 years of Cardiovascular Lab leadership experience at the Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, or higher level required Demonstrated experience leading Cardiac Cath Lab and cardiovascular clinical operations, with Electrophysiology, Interventional/Special Procedures, and Pre/Post procedural experience highly preferred Strong knowledge of cardiovascular nursing, cardiac catheterization procedures, patient safety, regulatory compliance, staffing, productivity, resource management, and quality improvement Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and executive leadership #IND123
