Nurse ManagerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The Nurse Manager will supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, support clinical standards, and promote an efficient healthcare environment.
Responsibilities Oversee daily nursing unit operations and patient care activities. Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff. Coordinate staffing, schedules, and daily assignments. Monitor patient care quality, safety, and clinical outcomes. Ensure compliance with nursing policies and professional standards. Assist with staff orientation, training, and performance development. Address patient and staff concerns and resolve issues appropriately. Review documentation and support accurate clinical recordkeeping. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit resources. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage staffing, prioritize patient needs, and support a multidisciplinary team.
