A Nurse Manager manages nurses working in a clinical unit at a hospital or health care facility. Provides clinical experience as a registered nurse and supervises nurses that provide direct patient care. Creates and manages staff schedules and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are followed. Manages budget and recordkeeping for the unit.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) Work Experience 3 or more years experience in an Acute Healthcare Setting in area of specialty with proven management skills (Required) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Required) Essential Functions Direct the coordination of care across setting and among caregivers. Engage in teamwork as a team player and a team builder. Serve in key roles at work through shared decision making. Define a clear vision including goals and plans and measures progress. Promote nursing through participation in professional organizations. Use the results of quality improvement activities in nursing practice. Use creativity and innovation in nursing practice to improve care delivery. Incorporate evidence-based knowledge to initiate change in nursing practice. Participate in quality improvement activities. Document and submit required information and data in a timely fashion. Clearly and accurately document designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc. Ensure that documentation is tailored to expected readers / users. Use correct terminology.
