Weekend RN Supervisor

FULL TIME
1 year experience preferred in Long Term Care
Must possess current, unencumbered active RN License. Job Duties include, but not limited to:
Assist the DON in directing day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations & guidelines govern the long term care facility.
Participate in facility surveys (Inspections) made by authorized govt agencies as requested by the administrator or DON.
Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff are available each shift & that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident. (PPD)
Delegate to each charge nurse the authority responsibility and accountability necessary to perform his/her assigned duties.
Daily rounds of nursing dept to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with nursing personnel as well as other depts within the nursing facility.
Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
Ensure that nursing dept has adequate supplies (PPE etc.

) that are readily available to personnel
