AUGUSTA, Evans, GA Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork RN License Working with pediatric populations Clinic experience Team development Full Job Description The Clinical Supervisor (CS) is a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) who provides clinical leadership, oversight, and support within a high-volume pediatric practice. This role ensures that clinical operations run efficiently across three locations by supervising CMA staff, maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and accountable team culture. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the CS provides hands-on pediatric nursing care as needed, supporting providers and clinical teams throughout the day.

Full-Time, On-Site, Salaried Key Responsibilities . Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of all CMA staff across three clinic locations.
  • Conduct daily huddles to align staffing with visit volumes and operational needs.
  • Oversee patient flow, clinical workflows, and rooming efficiency to minimize delays and improve the patient experience.
  • Provide direct nursing support, including patient triage, vaccine oversight, and clinical problem-solving.
  • Serve as a resource to providers for clinical questions, complex patient situations, or escalated concerns. Staff Management
  • Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of CMA team members.
  • Develop and manage staffing schedules across all sites; ensure adequate coverage and appropriate use of float staff.
  • Review and approve weekly timecards; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement corrective action when needed.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and a culture of clinical excellence. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all clinical staff follow pediatric care protocols, vaccine storage/handling procedures, infection control measures, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain compliance with
HIPAA, OSHA, VFC
guidelines, and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee training logs, CPR certifications, TB screenings, immunization requirements, and other compliance records for clinical staff.
  • Support internal and external audits, quality reviews, and regulatory site visits.
  • Track and report clinical quality metrics to leadership. IV. Communication & Coordination
  • Serve as the primary liaison between CMAs, providers, and administrative leadership.
  • Address day-to-day issues or clinical concerns raised by staff or providers.
  • Lead bi-weekly clinical staff meetings and share updates, policy changes, and clinical reminders.
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding schedules and assign appropriate mentors for training. Desired Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum 3 years of pediatric or family medicine clinical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory, charge nurse, or clinical lead experience.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. (Athena-preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Preferred
  • Experience supervising multi-location clinical teams.
  • Experience creating staff schedules.
  • Prior nursing leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with VFC, GRITS, and OSHA documentation requirements. Key Competencies
