Duties Perform thorough cleaning tasks including window cleaning, floor care, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and janitorial tools safely and effectively. Handle chemicals responsibly by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, application, and disposal to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Conduct sanitation procedures for restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to promote infection control and hygiene. Assist with laundry services when required, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning activities to protect yourself and others from hazards. Support custodial tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment and manual handling of furniture or materials as needed. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, safety checks, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and professionally. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care (buffing or stripping), and sanitation practices is advantageous. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and infection control protocols is highly valued. Experience operating various cleaning equipment safely and effectively is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling comfortably and safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Customer service experience is beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors in a courteous manner.
