Position Summary The Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing the daily nursing operations of the facility and ensuring quality resident care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, the Nurse Supervisor provides clinical leadership, staff support, and guidance to maintain a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts. Ensure quality resident care is provided in accordance with established care plans. Monitor nursing practices for compliance with regulatory and facility requirements. Assist with staffing coordination, assignments, and workflow management. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families. Observe and report changes in resident conditions. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment. Assist with staff education, training, and performance development. Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure resident rights, dignity, and safety are upheld at all times. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program or approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) program. Current, active, and unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of practice. Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, rehabilitation center, or related healthcare environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Preferred Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience. Experience working with geriatric, rehabilitation, or veteran populations. Pay:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
