The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care plans and deliver treatments as outlined. Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate documentation of assessments, care delivered, and incidents. Act as an advocate for patients, addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and care providers. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and staff engagement. Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing training, and stay current with industry best practices. Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing. Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Additional Duties:
Support organizational policies, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and contribute to shared governance activities. Performs other assigned duties to support hospital operations.
