Job Description
Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing nursing operations within a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and coordinating clinical activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices, particularly in family planning, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. The role is also eligible for Bonuses in addition to the provided salary. Duties Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and ensure adherence to best practices. Oversee patient care activities, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Manage utilization management processes to optimize resource allocation and patient outcomes. Conduct training sessions on medical terminology, medication administration, and specimen collection processing. Provide direct patient care as needed, including suture procedures and infant care. Ensure that the facility meets regulatory requirements and maintains accreditation standards. Address any issues related to behavioral health and coordinate appropriate interventions. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant clinical experience. Strong knowledge of family planning, emergency medicine, and behavioral health practices. Proficiency in medical terminology and utilization management principles. Experience with specimen collection processing and medication administration. Ability to work effectively with children and provide compassionate care to patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hospice experience is Required. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals.
