Therapy disciplines include:

• During night time hours between 9pm and 6am, a call pendent is provided. When activated signals a need for assistance to the overnight nursing home staff.
• Scheduled transportation to local events, errands and appointments For individuals who want to see if assisted living is the right fit, short-term stays are available.

Guests enjoy private, fully furnished apartments with all the same services and amenities as residents. We are looking for an Assisted Living Manager to join our team and provide assistance to our elderly tenants. Under the general direction of the Administrator, the Assisted Living Manager directs and coordinates healthcare activities for all tenants at the facility. The manager is responsible for the coordination of health care needs, evaluation and improvement of prgram services, management of Assisted Living staff, and the delivery of high quality of services as determined by the tenants. Conducts all responsibilies within the scope of practice dictated by the State of Iowa. Overseas the activities, maintenance, housekeeping,laundry, nursing, marketing, and food service departments and works closely with the facility administrator in managing these areas.

Responsibilities:

Provides a home like enviorment for all tenants Monitor the health and safety of residents. Assist with medication management. Provide emotional support to residents and their families. Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities. Assist with meal preparation and clean up. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Ensure ongoing complaince with appropriate local, state, and federal regulatory/and or accrediting body standards Must have completed or complete within 6 months of hire Assisted Living Managment Class Manage Staff schedule Work with RN program coordinator
