Full-time exempt position (80 hours/2-week pay period) Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS Monday-Friday, and as needed to oversee the operations of the department Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of nursing and clerical personnel. Participate in recruiting, hiring, orientation and competency of staff. Provide support to patients, families and physician addressing concerns. Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for the departments. Responsible for the mentoring and development of staff including delivery of employee evaluations and monthly staff rounding in collaboration with the Director of Acute Care/ED. Lead orientation and mentor nurse residency candidates. Design and run training session on new equipment/protocols.
