Nurse Manager Emergency Department Key Responsibilities & Duties Manage budgetary requirements and productivity for emergency department operations. Supervise and evaluate patient care quality to ensure satisfaction and clinical excellence. Provide clinical oversight, ensuring staff competency and appropriate assignments. Lead and direct emergency department staff to achieve quality clinical outcomes. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in emergency services. Nurse Manager Emergency Department Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required for this position. Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in emergency department settings. Preferred 5 years of experience in emergency nursing and leadership roles. Active Registered Nurse license and CPR certification required. Strong knowledge of clinical assessment and medical equipment usage. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
