Job Description

Wellness Director (RN/LPN) High Point Residence Jerseyville Supportive Living Community High Point Residence Jerseyville is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wellness Director (RN or LPN) to lead our clinical operations and nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys developing teams, supporting residents and families, and creating a culture centered around quality care, accountability, teamwork, and compassion . About the Role The Wellness Director provides leadership and oversight of the community's clinical operations and nursing team. This role is instrumental in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centered care while supporting staff development, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day clinical needs. We are looking for a confident, approachable, and hands-on leader who can balance clinical responsibilities with team development and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and provide oversight to the nursing and clinical team Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered service Coach, mentor, and support clinical team members Collaborate with physicians, families, community leadership, and interdisciplinary team members Oversee clinical documentation to ensure records are accurate, timely, and compliant Support resident assessments, care planning, and changes in condition Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and clinical education Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, company policies, and clinical standards Participate in day-to-day clinical operations and provide hands-on support when needed Help identify opportunities to strengthen clinical processes, communication, and resident outcomes Qualifications Current and active Illinois RN or LPN license Previous experience in supportive living, assisted living, senior living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills What We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who is: Supportive, dependable, and approachable Skilled at building, developing, and retaining a strong clinical team An effective communicator with residents, families, staff, and leadership Organized with strong attention to detail and clinical follow-through Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Committed to resident safety, dignity, and quality of care Collaborative and willing to be hands-on when the team needs support If you are an experienced nurse leader looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping build a strong clinical team, we would love to connect with you.
