Job Description
Job Summary Meadowbrook in La Grange is seeking an energetic and dedicated Weekend Supervisor RN to lead our nursing team during 12-hour shifts on weekends. In this vital role, you will oversee patient care delivery, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a positive, collaborative environment for staff and residents alike. Your leadership will drive quality outcomes, promote safety, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional and administrative leadership to staff. Coordinate nursing, medical and/or behavioral health care activities with all staff to ensure smooth and complete coordination of efforts throughout shifts. Provide mentoring and training as needed. Coordinate all care rendered to patients, including physician orders and diagnostic information, and ensure consultations are ordered. Ensure the facility meets the minimum staffing levels for nurses and nurse aides; Complete required posting of nursing staff data as required Verify resident census accuracy and report new admissions, discharges, leaves of absence and bed-holds per facility policies; document census as established for billing and clinical purposes. Communicate with Director of Nursing and Administrator regarding status of facility operations.Requirements:
Recognize significant signs and symptoms of disease Ability to pass medications Ability to provide technical nursing care guidance. Clear and active Illinois Registered Nursing (RN) License 2+ years of Supervisory or Management experience In-depth knowledge of Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility procedures Team management skills Great communication and people skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Interact and effectively communicate with staff, customer base and any regulatory agency.Benefits:
