$37.25-57.74/hr base and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Charge Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for: Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients and families Coordinate daily OR activities, including staff assignments, case flow, room readiness, and patient care priorities Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to OR nursing and support staff Monitor patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with regulatory standards Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to facilitate efficient patient care Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care and coordination of assigned OR activities Assist with staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and operational concerns as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree is a plus Current (or ability to obtain) state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure Recent charge nurse experience required At least one year of recent OR / Circulator nursing experience
