Full-Time | Leadership About the Opportunity We are looking for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about senior care, team development, and creating an environment where residents receive exceptional, person-centered care. The specific community location will be shared with qualified candidates as they move through the interview process. About the Role The Wellness Director serves as a key clinical leader within the community, overseeing nursing services and supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents. This position combines clinical expertise, leadership, team development, and daily operational oversight. The Wellness Director works closely with community leadership, nursing teams, residents, families, and healthcare partners to maintain high standards of care, documentation, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications Active Illinois RN or LPN license Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to provide effective clinical leadership and support to nursing teams Preferred Qualifications Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience Experience in supportive living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care Experience with electronic medical records Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations Key Responsibilities Oversee nursing services and promote high standards of resident care and wellness Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical team members Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a strong nursing team Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive resident care Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Support daily clinical operations and departmental workflows Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and community standards Promote resident advocacy, staff development, accountability, and teamwork Foster a safe, compassionate environment for residents Partner with community and corporate leadership to support operational excellence Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Commitment to quality care and resident satisfaction Collaborative, hands-on leadership approach If you are an experienced RN or LPN ready for your next leadership opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
