Identifying patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and their support systems. Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Promoting patient independence by:

Setting patient care goals. Educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care. Addressing questions and concerns.

Ensuring quality of care by:
