Manage complex clinical tasks such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, and ventilator management. Oversee electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) documentation to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and diagnostic evaluations to optimize patient outcomes. Provide mentorship and supervision to nursing staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the state licensing board. Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine; experience working with geriatric or long-term care patients is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10). Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical imaging or laboratory experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform advanced clinical procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile technique, and airway management. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and patient assessment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stakes environments like Level I Trauma Centers or acute care units.
