Position Summary The LPN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting clinical education experiences for practical nursing students while ensuring compliance with clinical agency, college, and regulatory requirements. This position combines clinical instruction, student supervision, clinical site coordination, and management of student health and immunization documentation. The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively with nursing faculty, clinical partners, students, and college administration to promote safe, effective, and high-quality clinical learning experiences. Clinical Education and Instruction Teach and supervise LPN students during assigned clinical experiences in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, community agencies, and other approved clinical settings. Supervise students in the delivery of safe, ethical, competent, and patient-centered nursing care. Evaluate student clinical performance using established course outcomes, clinical evaluation tools, and program standards. Identify student strengths and areas requiring remediation or additional clinical support. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for students regarding professional nursing practice. Maintain accurate documentation of student clinical attendance, performance, and progression. Participate in skills validation, competency assessment, and other clinical learning activities as assigned. Clinical Coordination Coordinate clinical rotations and student assignments with approved clinical agencies. Communicate with clinical agency representatives and preceptors regarding student schedules, requirements, performance, and clinical expectations. Maintain positive working relationships with clinical partners and assist with resolving clinical placement concerns. Ensure clinical experiences provide appropriate opportunities for students to meet course and program learning outcomes. Develop and maintain clinical schedules, student placement assignments, and related documentation. Assist nursing faculty with preparation for clinical experiences and orientation of students to clinical sites. Monitor student compliance with clinical agency policies and college requirements.
Pay:
$35.00 - $39.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
