• 5:30p-6:10a with 12 hour shifts.

Rotating schedule . Registered Nurse (RN) minimum pay $29.06hr/ up to $39.32/hr. based on experience. Plus an additional $5.00/hour shift differential for night shift + $1.00/hour shift differential for weekend shifts. General Summary The Charge Nurse provides professional nursing care for the residents according to established standards and practices. The Charge Nurse maintains a safe, positive, spiritual, and social environment, which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the residents. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assess and evaluate needs and ongoing care of the residents thru assessments. Implement and maintain established health care standards, policies and procedures. Orient, instruct, train and supervise staff members. Reviews and ensures implementation of resident Care Plans based on assessment and staff feedback. Perform clerical duties as needed. Maintains courteous and professional communication with residents, visitors, staff members and all vendors. Maintains Resident rights and confidentiality of medical information. Assist Nurse Aides as needed to cover floor. Responsible for safety of residents and staff during shift. Perform duties required of each shift — ie. medical treatments, administration of insulin, and medications when KMA not available. During off hours, ensures proper staffing levels are maintained when call offs are reported, including full time and part time Mount employees as well as coordination of agency replacements. Education, Training and/or Experience Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program and a current license from the State of Kentucky. Must meet all local health regulations.
