Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Floor Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective monitoring and treatment. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the floor, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. Document medical information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Cerner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management. Assist in performing medical procedures as needed, including Botulinum toxin treatment and sonography. Engage with children and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and understanding during treatment. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health regulations and standards. Requirements Current nursing license in the state of practice. Experience in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or behavioral health is preferred. Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical imaging techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of EHR systems such as Point Click Care is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong leadership skills when necessary. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing best practices. Schedule 12 hour shifts, starting at 7am and 7pm Rotating schedule allowing nurses off every other weekend.
