Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to step into the pivotal role of Clinic Superviosr. This energetic leader will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing policies and procedures Coordinate clinic operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, medical documentation, and clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheter care, and tube feeding Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and long-term care regulations Manage medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Athenahealth; maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions Conduct diagnostic evaluations, physical examinations, and assessments for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities Facilitate discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes Implement infection control protocols and ensure sterile processing standards are upheld in all clinical activities Provide training and supervision to nursing staff on medical terminology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), and other documentation requirements Manage team communication effectively to promote a collaborative work environment focused on excellent patient care Qualifications Valid RN license with current state registration; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support), IV infusion certification, or ACLS preferred Extensive clinical experience including critical care (ICU), emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or Level I/II trauma center settings Proven management experience supervising nursing teams within medical offices or long-term care facilities Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks; proficiency in medical documentation and coding (ICD-9/10) is essential Experience working with diverse populations including seniors in memory or dementia care settings; familiarity with assisted living or long-term care regulations is advantageous Skilled in patient assessment techniques, vital signs monitoring, specimen collection/processing, and sterile procedures such as suturing or phlebotomy Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and team leadership; ability to navigate complex healthcare regulations effectively Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management practices Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality Join us as our RN / Clinic Supervisor to make a meaningful impact on patient lives through compassionate leadership.
