LPN Full Job Description Nursing Unit Manager Location:

Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Unit Manager to lead a long-term care nursing unit. Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned long-term care unit Supervise, support, and provide direction to nurses and nursing assistants Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with their care plans Monitor changes in resident conditions and communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team Participate in care plan meetings and resident assessments Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and regulations Assist with staff scheduling, training, performance management, and ongoing education Support infection-control, quality-assurance, and risk-management initiatives Prepare the unit and staff for government surveys and regulatory inspections

Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN license in the state Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience required Prior supervisory or unit management experience strongly preferred Strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey requirements Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
