You must have strong communication skills for speaking with guests both at the Tavern and on the phone taking reservation, take-out orders, function and catering requests. This is a long-term employment opportunity. Maintain a clean appearance as you are the first impression guests have upon entering the Tavern. Greet the guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure a positive experience. Effectively maintain reservations to maximize covers and manage walk-ins with approximate wait times. Maintain a neat, organized entry area. Ability to maintain composure and multitask in a sometimes stressful environment Team player who looks for ways to help-out other employees whenever needed. Ability to work 6+ hours on your feet and sometimes until 11pm. At least 18 years old and 1+ years' experience as a host or hostess in a busy, fast paced casual or fine dining restaurant is required. Hire is available immediately, but we are able to wait until the perfect candidate is found. This is a long-term employment opportunity. You will not be considered unless you are at least 18 years of age and have at least 1 full year of experience hosting in a fast-paced casual family dining restaurant!
