Full Job Description RN Supervisor Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our evening shift team at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing operations, providing optimal quality of care, and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on assigned shift to maintain continuity of nursing care Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures with staff, families, and visitors Make rounds on nursing units to ensure maximum care and communicate with families Respond to emergencies and provide medical oversight Verify physicians' orders and ensure accurate documentation Secure pre-admission reports and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff Conduct chart audits and monitor IV program Assist in recruitment, selection, and orientation of nursing staff Participate in meetings and assume other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred CPR certified Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow oral and written instructions Fluent knowledge of MS Office suite and other office equipment Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day and perform physically demanding work involving frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders
Working Conditions:
Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs How to
