Job Description

Our Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within a health care facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. Extensive clinical experience a must, prior administrative experience, and training in both nursing and administration. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to occasionally work on the weekends. Schedule - 8:00am - 4:00pm ( Pending admissions)
Payrate:
$45-53, Full Time Salaried.
Duties of RN Unit Manager:
Oversee unit Assist with treatment and medication administration Assist with Admissions Participate in family meetings and discharge planning process including but not limited to equipment management and VNA referrals Notify and update insurance companies on admissions, discharges, and changes in condition for managed care residents Attend and participate in weekly Medicare meetings Attend and participate in daily meetings Conduct daily audits of all new admission charts Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor, and other departments Investigate all incident reports and follow-up accordingly Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure the quality of care Participate and report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetings Conduct audits as directed by DNS in annual survey prep Participate in yearly evaluations of staff Take on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned We look forward to hearing from you!
