Onsite, 24 Tabor Crossing Longmeadow, MA 01106 Summary Glenmeadow is seeking a caring and compassionate RN or LPN. The Retirement Community Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents. This role is ideal for a dedicated and empathetic nursing professional committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in a vibrant senior living community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments andmonitorresidents' health status regularly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Provide education and support to residents and their familiesregardinghealth management and wellness. Respond to calls ina timelyandappropriate manner. Document all nursing care and resident interactions accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. Education and Experience ActiveRN or LPN license in Massachusetts. Previousexperience in a nursing role, preferably in a long-term care, geriatric, orretirement community setting. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong clinical assessment skills toidentifyhealth concerns and monitor changes in residents' conditions Effective communication skills to educate residents and families and collaborate with healthcare team members Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and ensuretimelycare delivery Compassion and empathy to provide emotional support and enhance residents' overall well-being Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
