7a-3p including an every other weekend rotation
Pay:
$42 to $50 an hour, including the differential, depending on license.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Nursing Supervisor to join our dynamic care team at Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the total nursing care activities in the facility during each shift of duty, ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident Develop, update, and communicate residents' care plans Oversee the implementation of care plans, performing care activities appropriately, and recognize changes in resident status Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care Follow physician's orders, render, and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relations
Requirements:
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state Must be CPR certified Must have at least one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Accurate and comprehensive assessment skills Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care Leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel Why Work with
