Job Description:
Job Requirements Works alongside the Director to support the daily operations of ICU/IMC units, oversee patient flow coordination, ensure adequate staffing levels, maintain budget adherence, and assist in preparing performance reviews. Holds full accountability and responsibility for the assigned unit on a 24-hour basis.
Work Experience Education & Training :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland. Bachelors' degree in Nursing is required; Masters preferred. Certification in BCLS is required; ACLS certification is preferred. Nursing Administration or clinical certification preferred.
Work Orientation & Experience :
The Nurse Manager has a minimum of three years of recent nursing experience in an acute care setting; including one (1) year Charge Nurse experience. Proven clinical competence and proficiency in the area of specialty is required.
Skills & Abilities :
Ability to: a) prioritize work assignments and complete duties within prescribed time frames; b) establish and maintain positive working relationships and open lines of communication with a variety of people; c) make independent decisions; d) demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills; e) demonstrate the following skills: planning, decision-making, delegating and coaching; and f) manages effectively in a constantly-changing, high-pressure environment. . Benefits Full-Time Days (7am-7:30pm)
Pay Range:
