Overview of the Night Supervisor (RN/LPN) Role Responsibilities include: Monitoring resident health and responding to condition changes Evaluating and documenting falls, incidents, and emergencies Supervising caregivers and medication staff during overnight shifts Managing shift staffing, attendance, and assignments Overseeing medication administration and narcotic counts Transcribing physician orders and updating Service Plans Ensuring documentation compliance with regulatory standards Serving as a liaison with physicians, pharmacy, and families
Qualifications and Skills:
Active RN or LPN license in good standing Graduation from an approved nursing program At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a clinical setting Strong assessment, delegation, and documentation skills
