Job Description

Our client is looking for a Full Time, Nurse Manager to run their Emergency Department at their hospital where their 55-bed unit provides high-quality care to more than 49,000 patients annually. They are a primary stroke center and cardiac referral center. They are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to oversee daily operations, support a collaborative team, and drive excellence in patient care. Their r leadership team consists of (2) Assistant Nurse Managers, Reporting to the Director, a Lead Emergency Room Technician and (2) Educators. The manger will oversee approximately 98 FTEs.   • Possible for ideal candidate Responsibilities of an Emergency Department Nurse Manager Lead and coordinate 24/7 Emergency Department operations.
Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Monitor quality, safety, staffing, and financial performance. Implement evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. Experience in leading change management and process improvement. Experince with lean principles. Strong working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards. Requirements of an Emergency Department Nurse Manager Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility to obtain one). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 3-5 years of nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership skills preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
