Available for qualified candidates Schedule Full-Time Leadership Position Days with 24/7 department oversight Job Type Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire Location Randallstown, Maryland Position Overview A nonprofit Level III Trauma Center is seeking an Emergency Department Manager to lead a newly renovated 55-bed Emergency Department serving more than 50,000 patients annually . This leadership role oversees approximately 98 FTEs while partnering with assistant nurse managers, educators, and the ED director to drive quality, patient safety, and operational excellence. Charge Nurses and Supervisors with direct leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Oversee daily Emergency Department operations Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance Monitor quality, staffing, productivity, and budgets Lead performance improvement and change management initiatives Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture Requirements Active Maryland RN license (or eligible) BLS certification 3-5 years of nursing experience Leadership experience with direct reports, performance evaluations, and disciplinary responsibilities Experience with process improvement and Lean principles preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Why Join This Team?
