Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities Supervise and manage nursing staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team functioning. Coordinate patient care activities, including assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Oversee medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and sterile processing to uphold safety standards. Ensure adherence to nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all clinical operations. Facilitate effective communication among multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and administrative personnel. Conduct clinical audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with NCQA standards. Manage staffing schedules, intake processes, discharge planning, and patient assessments to optimize resource utilization. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate documentation and data management. Support infection control protocols and implement best practices for acute pain management, wound care, and infection prevention. Lead case management efforts for complex cases involving behavioral health, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities. Requirements Valid registered nurse license with current state registration; supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Extensive clinical background in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding is essential. Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and injection administration. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and long-term care regulations; experience managing compliance is required. Proven ability to lead teams effectively within fast-paced environments involving medical-surgical units or long-term care facilities. Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and patient-centered care delivery. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and ventilator management. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, neonatal ventilator management, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), or developmental disabilities is advantageous. Ability to utilize medical terminology accurately while maintaining meticulous medical records.
