RN Unit Manager (RN UM)

Contract Length:
15 weeks
Shift:
3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Evening Shift)
Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and support nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Coordinate daily nursing activities, patient assignments, admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor patient conditions and ensure appropriate nursing interventions are provided. Provide clinical guidance and support to registered nurses, licensed practical/vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare staff. Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development. Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient documentation and medical records. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition, emergencies, and clinical concerns. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, infection-control standards, and facility policies. #HC1
