Nursing Leadership / Management / Supervision RN Unit Manager / RN Supervisor Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and nursing supervision for daily unit operations Supervise Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), CNAs, and nursing staff Coordinate and oversee patient care activities Ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care Manage staffing, assignments, scheduling, and daily nursing operations Provide guidance, direction, and support to nursing staff Monitor nursing care and ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals Address patient, resident, family, and staff concerns appropriately Assist with staff orientation, training, education, and performance management Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative nursing environment Serve as a clinical resource and nursing leader for the unit Assist with resolving clinical and operational issues Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal healthcare regulations Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience as an RN Unit Manager, RN Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Nurse Leader Strong clinical nursing and leadership experience Experience supervising nursing staff and managing unit operations Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment BLS certification preferred/required as applicable Healthcare leadership experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility (SNF), long-term care (LTC), rehabilitation, post-acute, or similar clinical settings preferred Keywords / Search Terms Registered Nurse, RN, RN Unit Manager, Unit Manager, RN Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Nursing Manager, Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager, Nurse Leader, Nursing Leadership, RN Management, Nursing Administration, Staff Nurse, Nursing Staff Supervisor, Healthcare Supervisor, Clinical Leadership, Patient Care, Nursing Management, Camden Maine, Camden ME.
