DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the oversight of the nurses and certified nursing assistants. Communicates with the nursing team, families, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members regarding resident status and unit needs. Coordinate the residents plan of care in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team. Rounds to evaluate effectiveness of care delivery and performance of nursing staff. Rotating on call duties including weekend coverage. May perform any of the duties of the staff nurse. Supports the nurses with new admissions. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
):
Licensure:
Registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Michigan, preferred. Ability to recognize subtle changes in resident condition. At least two (2) years of experience in long term care, preferred. At least two (2) years of supervisory experience. Equal opportunity employer.
