Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Manager to lead and support nursing operations across multiple departments within our facility. The ideal candidate is a positive, strong communicator and collaborative leader who is passionate about rural healthcare and committed to advancing clinical excellence, patient safety, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of nursing staff and patient care services Collaborate with nursing leadership and providers to optimize workflow and staffing Ensure compliance with regulatory standards Promote evidence-based practices, quality improvement initiatives, and patient satisfaction Oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff education/training Monitors and supports staffing needs as needed. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff Participate in budgeting, policy development, and hospital committees as assigned Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses across various departments Participate in department quality measures, data collection and presentation. .

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the State of Michigan Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; leadership/supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of rural healthcare, critical access hospital regulations, and standards of care BLS required; ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 18 months Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
