The Medical Team provides personal care for seniors in independent and assisted living facilities (such as; showering assistance, toileting assistance, med passing, escorting to and from the dining area, and help dressing and grooming).
Essential Functions:
Manage a group of communities Supervises Nursing personnel as assigned, and other disciplines in the performance of their clinical and administrative duties Conducts performance appraisals for staff being supervised annually Institutes and documents disciplinary actions when appropriate Evaluates and assists with revision of Agency clinical and administrative policies and procedures, nursing standards and parameters of responsibility for effectiveness in the delivery of quality and safe home health services on a regular basis. Ensures that appropriate infection control and safety measures are implemented and all hazards and accidents are reported. Receives, reviews, and responds to all incident reports and client complaints. Monitors the referral intake process and acts as a liaison between referral sources, physician, Agency Staff, and patient. Attends community risk meetings as needed Monitor compliance Other tasks assigned byDirector of Nursing Qualifications:
