Job Description
Assisted Living Clinical Nurse Supervisor- Registered Nurse Oakwood Senior Living Oakwood Senior Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and clinically strong Clinical Nurse Supervisor to help lead exceptional care for our assisted living residents. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on clinical leadership with team development, resident advocacy, and a commitment to creating a safe, supportive senior living environment. What You'll Do Provide clinical leadership and oversight for assisted living residents and nursing staff. Supervise, coach, and support nurses, medication aides, and care team members. Monitor resident health, changes in condition, care plans, and clinical outcomes. Coordinate with physicians, families, pharmacies, therapy providers, and other healthcare partners. Ensure medications, treatments, documentation, assessments, and care practices are completed accurately and according to applicable standards. Respond to resident changes in condition and help coordinate appropriate interventions and follow-up care. Participate in hiring, orientation, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development of clinical team members. Promote infection prevention, safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Build positive relationships with residents and families while advocating for resident needs, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for the entire care team. What We're Looking For Current RN in good standing, as applicable to state requirements. Experience in assisted living, long-term care, senior care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting. Previous supervisory or charge-nurse experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities. A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care. Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members. Commitment to maintaining a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
