As a Nursing Services Manager at Mercy in Aurora, you will lead a team of nurses to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. You will oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, and clinical workflows to ensure safe, high-quality services across units. Responsibilities include mentoring and evaluating nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will champion evidence-based practices, support quality improvement initiatives, and foster a collaborative, compassionate culture aligned with Mercy's mission of enhancing community health and advancing clinical excellence. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and clinical workflows across assigned units. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting professional development and high performance. Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices. Develop and manage staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet patient needs. Monitor and improve patient safety, quality, and satisfaction metrics through continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Participate in budgeting, cost control, and resource management for nursing services. Implement and update nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
