This position is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room , responsible for overseeing patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking. The role involves managing staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development, ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals. It includes participating in budgeting, staffing, and resource planning, as well as ensuring quality patient care tailored to patients' developmental needs. The role requires direct supervision of staff, managing staffing levels, and overseeing daily operations to meet operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Develop and monitor departmental budgets, respond to business changes, and ensure financial goals are met. Coordinate patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatment, ensuring documentation compliance. Oversee staff productivity, operational efficiency, and support team collaboration. Lead staff meetings, manage payroll, and handle communication with team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred. RN licensure is mandatory. Experience of 2-5 years in nursing; supervisory experience preferred for advanced roles. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
