Full Job Description Role Overview:
Seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room to oversee patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking. The role involves managing staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development, ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals. Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, as well as creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. The position requires direct oversight of staff activities, payroll reconciliation, and performance management, supporting nursing excellence and quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing RN licensure 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience are preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Key Duties:
Manage staff hiring, training, assignments, and evaluations Develop departmental budgets and monitor financial goals Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to policies Lead staff performance reviews and address disciplinary issues Coordinate staffing needs, overtime, and daily operations
