Develops, plans, directs, coordinates, evaluates and manages activities to promote a quality, evidence based skin and wound care program. Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration to drive the strategic implementation of skin and wound care best practices, fostering a culture of consistency, continuity of care, and quality of care. Develops and evaluates individualized patient care by applying a clinical knowledge and skill. Oversees the development and delivery of skin and wound care education for patient/family and interdisciplinary staff. Leads program development and initiatives to enhance the quality of skin and wound care. Promotes compliance with regulatory standards by engaging stakeholders to assess the impact of policy changes on patient care delivery and workflow processes. Provides leadership to and oversight of, the wound care nursing staff, and provides direct patient care, education and consultation to providers and staff as needed.   • Ability to give injections, administer medications, reposition patients; conduct wound assessment, physical assessments, change dressings; fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, answer phone, data entry; navigate EMR to obtain critical details; use excel, WORD and PowerPoint.
