Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position involves managing operational functions within a 43-bed acute medicine unit, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance. The role requires developing staff plans, overseeing audits, ensuring regulatory readiness, and handling service recovery related to physician and bed management issues.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in budgeting and responding to business changes to meet financial goals Analyzing patient outcomes, audits, and reporting to identify trends and develop action plans Ensuring staff meet competency and regulatory requirements through audits and corrective actions Managing staffing levels, approving payroll, and coordinating staff communications and meetings Hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating performance, and managing disciplinary actions for staff
Qualifications:
Required:
RN license, Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree, 2-5 years of experience, supervisor experience preferred
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, less than 2 years of supervisor experience
