Full Job Description Role Overview:

This position is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room, responsible for coordinating patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and data collection. The role involves managing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development, to support departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise staff, assign work, and ensure productivity aligns with operational objectives. Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to business needs to meet financial targets. Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions are age-appropriate and documented properly. Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree, RN license, 2-5 years of experience, supervisory experience preferred.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, less than 2 years of supervisory experience.

Additional Details:

Must have OR experience; supervisory or charge experience is preferred. Role does not involve staffing but includes direct reports. Work involves five 8-hour shifts, primarily in the OR with advanced technology, including robotic surgery.
