In this leadership role, you'll support a mission-driven, patient-focused team delivering advanced cardiac and telemetry care. You will coordinate daily unit operations, staffing, and patient flow while providing direct clinical support and mentorship to nurses. You'll champion evidence-based practice, patient safety, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the telemetry unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to RNs and support staff Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation based on patient acuity Assist with onboarding, training, and performance feedback for unit staff Promote adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans Use telemetry and cardiac monitoring data to guide nursing interventions Support quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and patient experience initiatives Monitor unit metrics and contribute to action plans for outcomes and efficiency Participate in shared governance and promote a culture of compassion, inclusion, and learning Required Skills Telemetry nursing Cardiac monitoring Clinical leadership Staff scheduling and staffing coordination Acute care nursing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Quality improvement and patient safety Regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission) Interdisciplinary team collaboration Patient and family education
